MERIDIAN, Idaho — Meridian will soon have a new restaurant. Slim Chickens, a casual chicken restaurant known for its lightly breaded chicken tenders and multiple dipping sauces, will soon open on Chinden near Costco.
This will be the first Slim Chickens location in Idaho. While the restaurant is known for chicken tenders, diners can also try several chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffles, salads and wraps with a variety of traditional southern sides like mac and cheese, slaw, fried okra and potato salad.
